What the site does
The site is a directory of independent business advisers, consultants, mentors and coaches. Businesses can search it, read advisers’ profiles, message advisers and ask for quotes. It is free for businesses to use.
The advisers listed are independent businesses. We are not a party to any agreement you make with an adviser, we don’t provide advice ourselves, we don’t take a commission and we don’t handle payments between you and advisers. Any services, prices, cancellations or complaints are a matter between you and the adviser.
Our checks on advisers
Advisers write their own profiles. Before a listing appears, the adviser must confirm their email address and pay a membership fee, and they agree to keep their profile accurate. We don’t verify qualifications, experience, insurance or professional memberships, and a listing is not a recommendation. Please make your own checks — for example by asking for references and a written proposal — before you engage anyone. If you think a listing is misleading, tell us.
Using the site
- You must follow our acceptable use policy.
- Information you send through the site must be accurate, and you must have the right to share it.
- Keep any account login details confidential and tell us straight away if you think someone else has used your account.
- We may change, suspend or withdraw any part of the site, and may restrict access to anyone who breaks these terms.
Content and intellectual property
We own, or are licensed to use, the design, text, graphics and software of the site. You may view and print pages for your own business use. You must not copy, scrape or republish the directory, or use it to build a competing database or mailing list. Advisers own the content of their own profiles.
No reliance on information
The content on this site, including advisers’ profiles, is for general information only and is not advice. We try to keep it accurate and up to date but can’t guarantee it is complete, accurate or current.
Links to other websites
Profiles may link to advisers’ own websites and other sites we don’t control. We aren’t responsible for their content or how they handle your information.
Our liability
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that can’t be limited by law.
If you use the site as a business, we exclude all implied terms, and we won’t be liable for any loss of profit, sales, business, revenue, goodwill or data, business interruption, or any indirect or consequential loss, arising from your use of (or inability to use) the site or reliance on its content, or from any dealings with an adviser.
If you are a consumer, we only provide the site for domestic and private use and aren’t liable for business losses. We are responsible for loss you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care and skill, but not for loss caused by an adviser or by events outside our control.
We aren’t liable for loss caused by a virus or other harmful material that infects your device through use of the site, though we take reasonable steps to keep it secure.

We may update these terms from time to time. The version on this page when you use the site applies. Please check it occasionally.
Law and courts
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. Business users agree that the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction. If you are a consumer you may bring proceedings in England and Wales, or in your local courts in Scotland or Northern Ireland.
